Amazon UK are selling a new addition to your Baby Collection (not sure how many of you that includes), the Baby Born Scooter.
We’ve got to say that it looks pretty retro and absolutely fantastic in the shocking pink colour and could be an inspiration for someone’s next project maybe?
This scooter is remote control and according to Amazon “not suitable for carrying pets or children”, oh and the doll is not included, sorry folks!

It looks like the folks at Ashi Dashi have come up with novelty socks for the Scooterist.
These socks come in two different styles, Lambretta and Vespa, and in three colours, red, green and blue.
Dubbed as being perfect for a scooter rally (not really sure about that one!) these socks are “made in the USA” and are available from the above site for a mere $11.99

The “boring” office chair should now be a thing of the past thanks to Bel & Bel using old Vespa parts to create a hand made leather chair that any self respecting scooterist would be happy to park their rear on.
This is certainly one way of recycling old Vespa P Series leg shields and probably now cost more than the leg shields originally did….oh well, that’s progress I suppose….

It seems that the people of New York have finally woken up to what everyone in Europe has been shouting about for years, scootering is cool and damn good fun.
According to the Los Angeles Downtown News a new Vespa dealership is due to open in a 3,000 square foot building sometime in November that will not only sell the scooters by Piaggio but all the clothing, helmets and branding that goes with it.
This is a new step forward for the USA who are used to much bigger “hogs” roaming the streets of LA and only time will tell on how much the “Scooter Revolution” will catch on. The Vespas are due for sale starting at $3,200

If you are Italian and have a grandson and plenty of time on your hands then this is the ideal project for you – the Vespa Rocking horse.
Made for his grandson Diego this rocking horse is the envy of “young” scooterists everywhere and as the run up to Christmas approaches there will no doubt be many of these on lists to Santa for delivery by the big man.
The rocking horse had been made from fiberglass, metal and imitation leather for the seat, for those who want to follow in this old man’s footsteps and build their own.
Good luck!

Lambretta have switched direction by releasing a “bicicletta” in an effort to update it’s image.
The Li126 is based on the original Lambretta driven by Jimmy in the cult classic Quadrophenia. Branded as a “City Crusier” the Li126 is aimed at both men and women and sports the classic retro colours and the iconic Lambretta logo.
There will be 500 models released in this limited edition range, each with a unique number and certificate of authenticity.
The bicicletta was showcased at the London Cycle Show 2009 at Earls Court and is available in the UK from Fisher Outdoor Leisure for only £599

All good things must come to an end, fortunately this is not the case with Scooter Life.
We’ve re-vamped the site and added whole new sections, this news section which in time will expand to articles as well and also the galleries. The forums are still available and they too have a new look, but the content is just the same.
We hope you like the new look and continue to participate in the forums.
