Thought i would post this up in the girls room as it is a bit poofy for the main area (and i have my hardcore macho image to protect ) but i wanted to post up a picture of my boys Rudy and Adam who will be 5 years old in August. Being half Indonesian they have been riding scooters with Daddy (thats the handsome one in the middle ) since they were 2 years old. Seeing as they are getting a bit big now to be 3 up now Daddy has to build Mummy her own scooter now, whoever said twins were expensive didnt know the half of it. I thought i would share them here as i know girls like this kinda thing.
They are absalutely adorable little boys! As i said before i am married 2 scuba and we have 2 girls, Faith who was 5 in may and Poppi who will be 3 in feb, they are both a handfull but our life would be boring otherwise. As soon as nick (scuba) starts his vespa up the kids come running in with their hands over their ears saying its 2 loud! Faith likes sitting on it though, as long as its not running!
Yes i have seen the photos of your girls on the site, you have a lovely family. My boys, living in asia have been around scooters their whole life and are the oppersite of your girls as soon as they hear me fire one up they run out it the garage and jump on. Even if i am not going anywhere, if i was going out i was under strict instructions from the boss to start the scooter outside the garage after the door was shut. The kids have no fear of scooters at all and used to climb all over them. This was until Rudy climbed onto my chopper seat when he was about 3 years old and pulled it over on top of him (it has a side stand) Thankfully it hit the wall before it came down on him and he was ok if not a little shaken up. But this was a wake up call for us and we now live in a house where the garage is a bit more kid proof and remains closed off to them. Simply put no daddy = no scooter = no playing in the garage.
Like Toni says, they're adorable and so is that Vespa your sat on
.....and thats why I don't slag scooters off if I am not a fan of that particular model ...because when you see one like that you'd be a knob to say it was crap

Scratching the panel with his feet is the last of my worries, when i was working away on a project about 2 weeks after this scooter was finished and delivered the boys decided they would "play spanners" in the garage. This involved them getting vaious spanners, screwdrivers and hammers out of my tool chest and banging the bodywork with them (just like handy manny - a cartoon character they watch on the kids channel that tends to fix anything that is broken with a good tap with a hammer) they had a great time playing and by the time the maid finally realised they were in the garage (where they are not allowed to play) they have chunked and scratched one sidepanel, the headsets, the legshields and front mudguard. For added handy manny effect they also smashed the speedo face (hence the reason i am still looking for another square VBB speedometer 3 years later) and smashed the headlamp. The picture above was taken after the scooter was touched up again to repair the damage they caused.
